Who we are

Prices

All prices on this site are in Indian Rupees (INR). The price shown at checkout is the price you pay: the coffee, less any discount, plus the delivery charge. There is no extra payment fee. Prices and offers may change; the price that applies is the one shown when you pay or send your order.

Placing an order

Add items to your order, then check out with your delivery address. For delivery in Tamil Nadu you pay online through Razorpay. For delivery elsewhere in India the checkout opens WhatsApp with your order written out; sending it is a request to order, and we confirm the total and payment with you there. We deliver only within India.

When an order is accepted

An order paid online is accepted, and a contract of sale is formed, when Razorpay confirms your payment and we show your receipt. An order sent on WhatsApp is accepted when we confirm it back to you there. We may still cancel an order, for example if an item is unavailable or a price was shown in error; if you have paid, we refund it in full to the original payment method.

Coupons and discounts

Pack prices on this site are shown before any eligible code or discount. Codes are entered at checkout: at most one Diwali / Welcome code and one partner code per order. Codes work on orders of ₹499 or more of coffee and trial combos (before discount, without delivery); Chikmagalur Pure is never discounted and does not count toward the ₹499. The Diwali / Welcome code gives 5% off a first order. A partner code gives 5% off a customer's first 3 orders within 6 months, with the first partner whose code they use. Partner + Diwali / Welcome code together: 10% off the first order, up to ₹100; no order gets more than ₹100 off. A code cannot be exchanged for cash.

Trial combos

Trial combo prices include delivery inside Tamil Nadu. For delivery elsewhere in India, the normal delivery charge in our shipping policy is added.

Payment

Payment is set out in our payments policy: online at checkout for Tamil Nadu delivery, and as confirmed on WhatsApp for other states.

Cancellation, returns and refunds

You can cancel an order before it is dispatched. After dispatch an order cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged. The details are in our cancellation and refund policy.

Product information

Photographs on this site are representative of the product. Because every pack is ground and packed to order, small natural variation in colour, texture or taste between batches is normal and is not a fault. The coffee and chicory ratio is stated for every product. Coffee contains caffeine; if you are pregnant, have a medical condition or have been advised to limit caffeine, please check with your doctor. Store packs sealed, in a cool, dry place. For its full aroma, the coffee is best enjoyed within 3 months of packing.

Availability

A product shown on this site is not a guarantee of stock. If something you ordered is unavailable, we tell you on WhatsApp and refund it in full, or offer a replacement if you prefer.

Delivery

Delivery charges and timing are covered in our shipping policy. Responsibility for the parcel passes to you on delivery to the address you gave us.

Our responsibility

We are responsible for two things only: a pack that is damaged when you open the parcel, and a delay in delivery, as set out in our cancellation and refund policy and our shipping policy. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for anything else, and our total responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have under Indian consumer law that cannot be excluded.

Use of this website

The words, photographs, illustrations, logo and design on this site belong to Sundaram Coffee Works and may not be copied for commercial use without our permission. Do not misuse the site, for example by trying to disrupt it or by submitting other people's details.

Complaints and grievances

For any complaint, contact our grievance officer, Rajagopalan N., at inquiry@sundaramcoffee.com or on +91 72001 87285, or write to 180, Kasukadai Street (Bazaar Street), Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu 608001, India. We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within one month.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. We will always try to resolve a problem with you directly first. Any dispute that cannot be resolved is subject to the courts with jurisdiction over Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu, without affecting any right you have to approach a consumer commission.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and our policies from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one on this site when we confirm it. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
